Abstract:It has been over 40 years since epsilon() wave was found. It is one of the main diagnostic criteria for arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy (ARVC). Since wave is small in ECG, it is sometimes missed diagnosed. By adjusting frequency response range and paper speed of electrocardiograph, adding right ventricular lead or Fontaine lead, and in other methods, the detection rate of wave could be increased. In recent years, wave has been reported in other diseases. This paper reviews on the finding and naming of wave, detection methods, its dynamic changes, and manifestations in other diseases.
