Abstract:The undergraduate tutorial system first originated from Oxford University in England, and then was introduced to the teaching system of New China, showing great achievement to a certain extent. However, its executive effect at home is general for a majority of institutions of higher education, and the form seems to be greater than the meaning.
Starting from the core idea of the undergraduate tutorial system, this paper investigates the reasons why the system failed to function well in the domestic educational settings, analyzes its unique advantages in the higher education of clinical medicine, and also evaluates its application prospect in the professional training of cardiovascular medicine and electrocardiology specialty combining its particularity.
