Abstract:Timely correction of cardiac structural and functional abnormalities in patients with congenital heart disease(CHD) is beneficial to their longterm survival. The severity of pulmonary artery hypertension (PAH) is an important factor that determines the operability and longterm prognosis of adult CHD patients. As a noninvasive, simple and effective imaging method, echocardiography is widely used in adult CHD and PAH patients. The prediction model based on echocardiographic parameters can not only improve the accuracy of noninvasive parameters in the prediction of invasive hemodynamic indicators, but also could evaluate the surgical feasibility of CHD patients at different disease stages. It helps to avoid repeated invasive cardiac catheterization and also could improve the quality of comprehensive management of adults with CHD and PAH.
