Abstract:ObjectiveTo analyze the clinical application of ambulatory electrocardiography(AECG) in monitoring postoperative arrhythmia by observing patients implanted with different types of pacemakers with AECG. MethodsSixty postoperative patients implanted with pacemakers were continuously monitored for 24 hours by PI 12 channel holographic electrocardiogram analysis system. They included 19 patients implanted with ventricular pacing and ventricular perception inhibition(VVI) typed pacemaker, 19 patients with implantable cardioverter defibrillator(ICD) typed pacemaker, and 22 patients with atrioventricular dual pacing and dual perception reaction(DDD). The detection of arrhythmia and pacemaker dysfunction were compared among the postoperative patients separately implanted with VVI, ICD and DDD pacemakers. ResultsThe incidences of dysfunction and perception abnormality of VVI pacemaker, and incidence of postoperative arrhythmia were significantly higher than those of ICD and DDD pacemakers(P<0.05). Postoperative arrhythmia in the patients implanted with VVI pacemaker was mainly premature ventricular contraction or atrial premature beats; atrial premature beats and paroxysmal ventricular tachycardia were mainly found in the patients after DDD pacemaker implantation; premature ventricular contraction and paroxysmal ventricular tachycardia were in the majority of postoperative arrhythmias among the patients implanted with ICD pacemaker. ConclusionAECG can completely record the state of patients ECG and monitor the working condition of different types of pacemakers better, so that clinicians can judge patients conditions more accurately and reduce missed diagnosis and misdiagnosis. It is worthy of being applied and promoted clinically.
