Abstract The operation principle of 40ZCB-16 type non-leakage self-suction magnetic chemical pumpas well as its outer-mixed type structural and hydraulic designing methods is put forward in this paper. Thetest results for this pump show that the designing process of this way is reasonable, reliable and has moreadvantage features.
