Abstract:The design and optimization of spray needle arrangement in electrostatic atomization nozzle plays a very important role in improving the efficiency of pesticide atomization. To solve this problem, three kinds of spray needles layout methods are proposed for the electrostatic spray nozzle with specific parameters, and the electric field solution model of multi needle nozzle plate electrode is established. Using Ansoft Maxwell electromagnetic field analysis software as the tool, the plane electric field intensity distribution contour plot and the special path electric field distribution curve around the three kinds of electrostatic spray nozzle are obtained. The distribution density of the injection needle was further simulated for the better distribution of electric field, and the electrostatic spray experiment of the water soluble solution is carried out on six injector nozzles. The results show that: under the same conditions, compared with rectangular array and hexagon array, choosing circular array with smaller distribution radius can produce better droplet size distribution. Considering the practical application, too close distribution will result in too small needle spacing, which will easily cause the air breakdown around the needle tip and affect the atomization process. Therefore, the circular array with a radius of 6 mm is adopted, the circumferential array is the most suitable method, and the experimental results are basically consistent with the simulation results.
