Abstract The National Vocational Education Reform Implementation Plan establishes the status of vocational education as "type education" based on "the view of big vocational education", and gives new goals to modernization reform of China′s vocational education. From levels to types, its training system is improved; from demarcation to crossborder, its industryeducation integration and schoolenterprise cooperation are deepened; from exclusion to selection, its attractiveness is enhanced; from closure to opening, its social service capability is improved. Influenced by information technology, the reform will show a flexibility and lifelong coexistence of time, an openness and wisdom of space, an occupational and educational integration of value. To speed up the reform, it is necessary to take the education informationization as traction, the supplyside reform as support, and the multiparty collaborative governance as guarantee.
