| A survey and analysis on university faculty′ satisfaction with the faculty evaluation system |

Abstract With the dependent variable selected from open questions in the questionnaire on the development of Chinese university faculty and the independent variable screened with standardized procedures, this study uses T test, F test and regression analysis to make analytical testing of the factors affecting university faculty′ satisfaction, and finds that： with the promotion of individual development, work autonomy, work achievement and money, university faculty′ satisfaction with the faculty evaluation system is rising; the faculty′ satisfaction may be different with their characteristics; differences in seniority, age, individual development and work autonomy may be accountable for the significant difference in university faculty′ satisfaction; seniority, age, individual development and work autonomy are the first four factors that influence faculty satisfaction.
