Abstract By using structural equation model, this paper tries to probe into the influence mechanism by which university students acquire knowledge. It helps to seek the regression way of university education, which highlights the value and status of studentteacher interaction in students overall development, and interpret that the significance of real university education lies in improving students selfpersonality with advanced knowledge and the purpose of university education is to perfect students morality of selfdiscipline. Then the paper provides several suggestions for the university teaching reform: whole knowledge system and “free time” should be provided and the idea of “scholarship of teaching” should be practiced.
