The Value Orientation Analysis of Pedagogy “Chinazation”,“Localization” and “Chinese Characteristics” |

Abstract Pedagogy “chinazation”, “localization” and “pedagogy with Chinese characteristics” are the three keywords during the onecentury research and development of pedagogy in China. Pedagogy in China is the result of dissatisfaction and reflections on “imported pedagogy”, and its value orientation is “from the outside in”. Pedagogy “localization” is a concept generated with globalization and internationalization, and its value orientation includes both “from the outside in” and “from the inside out”. Pedagogy localization in essence is based on the Chinese mainland, and it is the Pedagogy which was born and raised in China with Chinese characteristics. Pedagogy with Chinese characteristics is built on the basis of Chinese history and tradition of education; it combines with the education reality; it learns from foreign advanced educational concepts to construct the Pedagogy with Chinese cultural characteristic; and it is the combination of generality and characteristics; its value orientation is the substantial expansion of pedagogy “localization” based on “from the inside out” and “local creation”. The only way to create pedagogy with Chinese characteristics is to pursue ontological value of “from the inside out”, to organically combine with theory research, history, reality and criticism, and to accumulate experience in experiments and conduct innovation of methodology.
