Abstract Pulmonary embolism is clinically common and characterized by its diversity, atypism and great criticality. However, the capacity of knowing and identifying of acute pulmonary embolism can vary greatly among clinicians. Clinicians, especially the ones in primary hospitals, should elevate their understandings of the disease by ECG, which will help to reduce the rate of missed diagnosis and misdiagnosis rate significantly, and also improve the accuracy and timeliness in diagnosing pulmonary embolism clinically.
