| A NEW WAY OF CALCULATING SPIRAL PARAMETERS OF A GUIDE VANE |

Abstract The throat size of the guide vane used in multistage pumps is of importance to pump characteristics. The author of this paper presented a new programme in which the throat size is given previously to shape the spiral of the guide vane, aiming at improoing the pump hydraulic efficiency.
