Predicament of UniversityEnterprise Cooperative Education: An Organizational Sociology Perspective

Abstract: Universityenterprise cooperation is the key to promoting collaborative innovation and an important measure to improve the quality of higher education. From the perspective of organizational sociology, various social brands are always left with the interaction between the university and the enterprise rooted in the social network. The predicament in universityenterprise cooperative education is generated by the resource dependence structure of the parties involved, their judgment of the validity of the cooperative behavior, the consultative exchange process of both sides and the generation process of their cooperation rules. A deep analysis of these aspects may contribute to an understanding of the predicamentgenerating mechanism of the universityenterprise cooperation and effective approaches to promote a sustainable development of the cooperation.
