Abstract According to the function of guidingmechanism, a suspension guidingmechanism model was built based on the roll center theory to compute the force on body by roll center concept.A suspension K&C properties correction model was also built to compensate the pose and position of wheels. A 14 DOFs vehicle model simulation code was compiled to embed the suspension model into vehicle model. An AClass Car Model was simulated to be compared with the experiment data, and to verify the correctness of the model. The vehicle handling stability was simulated to investigate the effect of suspension guidingmechanism on vehicle with step steering wheel angle input simulation as an example. The results show that the K&C parameters have great influence on vehicle, and the change trend of vehicle motion can be achieved by the simulation.
