Abstract In order to analyze the effect of flashing green on driver behavior, the distances from stop line, the traveling speeds and the corresponding decisions of drivers were collected through video taping and data procession based on photogrammetry. The driver decision models were developed by Logistic regression, and the accuracy and effectivity of the model results were verified. The driver decision analysis for different speeds indicates that the decisions are consistent when the distances from the stop line are near and far. When the distance is from 40 to 45 m, the driver decisions are obviously different.
