Development and evaluation of laser land leveling
machine with automatic lifting laser receiver |

Abstract To overcome the limited laser receiving range and the adjustment difficulty of laser receiver, a new laser land leveling machine with automatic lifting device was developed. The system structure, the hydraulic control mechanism and the automatic lifting device of laser receiver were presented. Some tests on land leveling precision were conducted to evaluate the performance of the new laser land leveling machine. The results show that the height standarddeviation is not more than 2.20 cm, and the relative improvement of flatness is achieved above 60% in testing area after leveling. In view of the limitations of traditional evaluation methods, the new index and the calculation method for laser land leveling machine performance were also proposed.
