Influence of graphene thin layer on performance of
organic lightemitting devices |

Abstract To investigate the impact of graphene thin layer on organic lightemitting devices, a set of OLEDs were fabricated with basic structure of ITO/ NPB(40 nm)/ Alq3(80 nm)/ LiF(0.5 nm) /Al. Four methods of with and without inserting interposing graphene thin layer between NPB and ITO, inserting graphene thin layer between Alq3 and LiF and doping graphene thin layer in NPB were used to prepare four groups of devices. The results show that the device doped with graphene thin layer in NPB shows the best performance under the same condition, and the maximum current efficiency reaches 3.40 cd·A-1 at 15 V with increasing of 1.46 times than those of other group devices. The maximum luminance of the device reaches 10 070 cd·m-2 with increasing of 2.37 times than the maximum luminances of other devices.
