1 The Underlying Logic and Practical Implications of Xi Jinpings Statements on the Harmonious #br# Coexistence between Man and Nature
Xiao Jianguo1, Li Yuhao2

Xi Jinpings important expositions on the harmonious coexistence between man and nature feature a problemoriented approach. In their formation, which involves theoretical continuation, practical demonstration, and innovative development, they cover three major generative aspects: ecological cognition based on practical understanding, ecological exploration with a priority on protecting nature, and ecological governance focusing on building a community of life. These aspects integrate the methodology of “dialectical unity”, the value theory of “nature first”, and the practice theory of “harmonious development”, forming Xi Jinpings developmental logic system from concept to action, from theory to practice, and from the individual to the whole. To promote the construction of ecological civilization in line with Xis statements of harmonious coexistence between man and nature, the key is to establish the ecological idea of harmonious coexistence and guide actions with the idea, that is, building a modern ecological system and using the system to promote reform, and making a systematic strategy of ecological development and using the strategy to plan the future.

10 On the Triple Transcendence of Xi Jinpings Economic Thought to Capital Logic
Sang Yanhai
Xi Jinpings economic thought analyzes the “new development stage” in which Chinas economy and society are located, and consciously puts forward the basic principle of “adhering to the new development concept” and the historical task of “building a new development pattern” and “promoting highquality development” in line with the changes of social relations determined by the changes of the realistic mode of production. In this regard, Xis economic thought transcends not only the production purpose of value multiplication of capital multiplication logic, the production content of value first, the production essence of onesided development of laborers and the internal structure, fundamental characteristics and existence basis of capital power logic, but also the core problem, the reasonable standard and the thinking mode of metaphysical paradigm of capital logic.

23 The Theoretical Logic of the Formation and Development of the CPCs View of the Chinese Nation
Zhao Gang, Liu Yinchu

Under the guidance of the Marxist view of nation, the Communist Party of China formulated and developed its view of the Chinese nation, the product of the combined forces of the localized Marxist view of nation, the ancient Chinese view of nation, and the modern Western view of nation. The logic behind the formation and development of the CPCs view of the Chinese nation is: the unity of adhering to the Marxist national view as guidance and forming the localized Marxist view of nation; the unity of inheriting and innovating the traditional Chinese culture to fit into the Chinese peoples cognitive system; the unity of borrowing from the achievements of Western nationalist ideology and forming a Chinese one that is in line with time. In short, the theoretical logic behind the formation and development of the CPCs view of the Chinese nation strongly promotes the integration and application of its national view in social practice.

35 Transmission and Sharing: the Dissemination of Chinese Cultural Symbols in the Age of Social Media
Lyu Zhimin1, Dai Hongbao2
Chinese cultural symbols are the emblem of Chinese civilization and culture. In the age of social media, the dissemination medium of Chinese cultural symbols has undergone historic changes. The social media platforms, such as WeChat and Douyin, have created a new context for the dissemination of Chinese cultural symbols, providing new opportunities for their spread. Modern interpretation and dissemination of Chinese cultural symbols through creative and good use of social media is conducive to establishing and highlighting these symbols and the Chinese national images shared by all ethnic groups, and realizing the leading role of these symbols in consolidating the sense of community for the Chinese nation. To construct the dissemination path of the Chinese cultural symbols in the age of social media, it is necessary to clarify the political direction, highlight the dominant position of mainstream media, and give play to the leading role of public service advertisements in the dissemination of these cultural symbols.

44 The Risk Spillover Effects between Chinas Green Bonds and Financial Markets— A Study Based on the Timevarying Parameter #br# Frequency Connectedness Model
Zhang Guofu1, Qi Xiaohong2,3, Du Ziping1,4
Based on the results of the TimeVarying Parameter Vector Autoregressive (TVPVAR) frequency connectedness model, the risk spillover effects between green bonds and other financial markets are primarily transmitted in the short term. Significant bidirectional spillover effects between the green bond market and the traditional bond market are observed across different time scales, whereas the risk spillover between the green bond market and the stock market, energy market, new energy market, and foreign exchange market is not statistically significant. Under the impact of major events, there is a notable increase in risk spillover between the green bond market and the stock market, energy market, and new energy market.

55 On the Impact of Environmental Regulation on Chinas Green and Lowcarbon Transformation and Development under the Constraint of “Carbon Peaking and Carbon Neutrality” Goals
Zhou Jiewen1, Gao Xiang2, Xie Peipei3
This paper tested the influence of environmental regulation on Chinas carbon emission performance, and then analyzed the interaction within industrial structure during the environmental regulation process, and its significance to enhancing the green and lowcarbon transformation and achieving highquality economic development. The research results show that environmental regulation has a “U”shaped nonlinear impact on carbon emission performance, which first suppresses and then promotes. This conclusion remains true after replacing the explanatory variables, estimation methods, and other robustness tests. The study also shows that environmental regulation indirectly influences the enhancement of carbon emission performance primarily through technological innovation effects (technical progress) and factor allocation effects (technical efficiency). The interaction coefficient between industrial structural adjustment and environmental regulation is significant, indicating that industrial structure is an important factor in the impact of environmental regulation on Chinas carbon emission performance. Additionally, the study reveals significant heterogeneity in the inflection point value of the “U” curve of environmental regulation between the northern and southern regions. On Chinas route of green and lowcarbon transformation and development, regional heterogeneity in the development process should be fully considered, and differentiated environmental regulation policies be implemented according to the different characteristics of regions.

68 SelfCritique Prompted by Immersion in (An) Other Culture: Goldsworthy Lowes Dickinson, Xu Zhimo, and Pearl S. Buck
King-Kok Cheung
Goldsworthy Lowes Dickinson, Xu Zhimo, and Pearl S. Buck were not only intriguing public intellectuals, but were also foundational members of literary and political circles, part of a web of relationships between transnational literary communities. All possessed both the Eastern and Western cultures and worlds; all were nonconformists in their own countries who identified acutely with overseas people and places; all left bountiful legacies in their native soil and overseas. They facilitated what was perhaps the most vibrant cultural encounter between China and Great Britain or between China and the United States. They produced cogent critiques of their native countries in part as a result of their immersion in other cultures, which provided them with critical distance from which to observe domestic mores and policies. Through their contrapuntal visions, they were early and prominent examples of migrant writers and scholars who believe in mingling with people of all stripes, in promoting a multicultural world heritage and, above all, in encouraging critical cultural and national introspection.

81 Opposition and Diffusion: Landscape Writing in The Good Earth
Wang Huigang
Landscapes in literature are often regarded as an expression of subjective experience. The Good Earth, Pearl S. Bucks Nobel Prize winning fiction, contains a large number of rural and urban landscapes. From the perspective of Chinese farmers experience, Buck portrays the rural landscapes represented by land, and villages and the urban ones by walls. She believes that the former is the spiritual center of Chinese farmers while the latter, composed of various political landscapes, is the representative of decay and alienation, resulting in the imbalance of the farmers spirit and identity. Therefore, only by returning to the countryside can the farmers be redeemed physically and spiritually.

89 On the Path Taken by Jiangsu Government to #br# Strengthen the Private Sector
Chu Dongtao
The private economy is the fresh force to realize the Chinesestyle modernization, and since the private businesses are its running subjects or microcarriers, all the major policies and measurements to boost the private economy must facilitate and empower the private businesses. “A Guideline on Boosting the Growth of the Private Economy” issued by the Communist Party of China Central Committee and the State Council made it clear to “strengthen the private economy”. The three “guidelines” fit well with the status quo of Jiangsu private sector, but to strengthen the sector is a complicate systematic project that requires not only both the Government and the businesses to move toward each other in policy, law and running, but a deep study and judging of the bolstering path as well. We hold that, to strengthen the private sector in Jiangsu at present, the primary path is to free our minds, the key path is to be determined on transformation and upgrading, and the success path is to be open, reformative and innovative. The combination of the three will push the private sector onto the route of highquality development to “become pioneers, reach new heights and make new contributions”.

100 On the Reward and Punishment Mechanism of Collusion of Live Commerce Platforms from the Perspective of Governmental Regulation
Li Guohao, Mei Ting, Liang Yongtao
The new marketing model of “live show + ecommerce” is developing rapidly, but there are many problems along with the booming. This paper studies how the live commerce platforms and the platform merchants collude to garner excessive profits, builds an evolutionary game model between live commerce platforms and government regulatory agencies based on different reward and punishment mechanisms, analyzes the stability of equilibrium points in the system, and conducts a simulation analysis. The results show: under both the static reward and punishment mechanism and the dynamic reward and static punishment mechanism, there is no stable equilibrium point; under both the static reward and dynamic punishment mechanism and the dynamic reward and dynamic punishment mechanism, there is a stable equilibrium point, but under the dynamic reward and punishment mechanism, there is a lower probability of collusion between the platforms and the merchants. Under the dynamic reward and punishment mechanism, the collusion between the platforms and live esellers is closely related to the rewards and punishments: when the punishment increases, the probability of collusion between them decreases, and the cost of governmental supervision decreases as well; when the reward increases, the probability of strict governmental supervision decreases, and the probability of collusion between the platforms and the sellers decreases but little. Therefore, the scientific and reasonable dynamic reward and punishment mechanism adopted by the regulators is conducive to the stable development of the live streaming industry.

113 The Criminal Law Regulation Concerning the #br# Abuse of Positioning Technology
Gong Shanshan
The theory and practice of the criminal law regulation about the abuse of positioning technology are hierarchical and crosscutting. Although the development of science and technology and the dividend of data make it difficult to regulate the legal acquisition but abuse of personal location information, the law does need to play its role. Yet the lag of understanding the concept of the right to privacy in the data age leads in the academic community to the creation of new rights of personal information, which, however, can only be protected in principle. So, to solve the problem, the criminal law must go out of the regulation logic of “restricted transfer” of personal information and protect personal information at various stages according to the types of rights. The legal interest of the crime of infringing upon personal information is the right to privacy. Personal location information can outline ones personal life, and once abused, great damage can be done to the person. So the act of abusing personal location information should be regulated by the criminal law from the view of evaluating the legal interests and balancing the stability and practicability, but in practice it should be guided by the principle of necessity.
