Abstract The consciousness of Chinese national community originates from the threedimensional modern transformation of social communication, cultural cognition and value reconstruction among different nationalities. It is the inevitable result of communication among all ethnic groups, who present the “spiritual portrait”of the modern Chinese national community in the multilevel ethnic communication, and convey the“ideological expression”of the consciousness of Chinese national community, whose “subject interaction” and “cultural identity” in the cognition of multilevel ethnic communication have formed the Chinese national community and crystallized into the consciousness of the Chinese national community, and who have achieved “consensus” and “shared interest” in the modern meaning in multilevel ethnic communication, and reshaped the modern value implication of the consciousness of Chinese national community.
