Abstract In the era of media pluralism, the existence of literature is diversified, and the literariness is spreading because of the “fission” caused by media pluralism on one hand and on the other hand, literary communication focuses on modes of television and movie as well as digitalization due to the change of “convergence” caused by strong media, influenced by strong media such as film and television media and network media. From this perspective, we can see the opportunities based on oral communication, paper media communication, film and television communication, network communication, interpersonal communication, group communication and organizational communication. It can also be found that the innovation strategy of Chinese literature in Southeast Asia should be set in two dimensions. First, in the dimension of diversified media, we should attach importance to giving full play to their respective advantages from the old media to the new media and then to the “quasimedia”. We should also attach importance to the cooperative communication between different media and the integration of literature and culture. Second, in the strong media dimension, we should take advantage of film and television media and network media to promote the communication of Chinese literature in Southeast Asia by television and movie as well as digitalization.
