Abstract The community consciousness of the Chinese nation is a general consciousness with strong cohesion and a strong sense of national belonging. During the 1911 Revolution and the AntiJapanese War such a consciousness, gradually rooted in the hearts of Chinese, became the spiritual link in enhancing ethnic solidarity, pooling national forces and promoting exchanges between ethnic groups. To cultivate the consciousness requires us to not only focus on our national identity and national unity but also perfect our national policy and enhance our cultural identity. It is of great significance for realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, carrying forward the traditional Chinese culture, solving the ethnic problems, doing a good job in ethnic affairs and coordinating ethnic relations to establish and consolidate the community awareness of the Chinese nation.
