Abstract Man neither merely benefits from nature, nor is the master of nature. As one of the numerous species co-existing and co-living on this planet, man is connected and united with nature through “metamorphosis of life and death”. Descriptions about insects in philosophy and literature teach us: man' s relationship with nature should be like that between bees and flowers-mutual dependence and benefiting; the essence of man' s existence is responsibility instead of existence itself or thinking. A truly eco-friendly existence is a humanistic, or even divine existence, instead of one of pure “wildness”.
