Abstract:Objective To investigate the impact of attack of arrhythmias for women complicating arrhythmia in pregnancy on both gravida and fetus. Methods Retrospective analysis was carried out on clinical data of 592 pregnant women complicating arrhythmias. Results Among the pregnant women complicating arrhythmias, the cases without structural heart disease accounted for 94.9%(562/592), with heart function of Ⅰ-Ⅱ; The cases complicating structural heart disease accounted for 5.1%(30/592); Iatrogenic premature delivery, low weight newborn infants, and perinatal death account for 34.3%(12/35), 31.4%(11/35) and 20.0%(7/35) of pregnant women complicating structural heart disease, respectively. Comparing with pregnant women without structural heart disease, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). However, among pregnant women complicating arrhythmias, iatrogenic premature delivery, low weight newborn infants, and perinatal death account for 2.0%(12/592), 1.9%(11/592) and 1.2%(7/592), respectively. Comparing with normal pregnant women, the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05). Conclusion For arrhythmia patients without structural heart disease, by close monitoring and normalized therapy, the prognoses of pregnant women and fetus were good while for pregnant women complicating structural heart disease and arrhythmia, the incidences of iatrogenic premature delivery, low weight newborn infants, and perinatal death all increase significantly. Therefore, the pregnant prognosis of pregnant women with arrhythmia is closely related the existence of structural heart disease.
