Abstract:Fascicular escape rhythm is a rare passive arrhythmia caused by abnormally originated cardiac stimuli. It is regarded as a kind of heart selfprotection rhythm, and is also a special manifestation of dual rhythm. The formation of fascicular escape rhythm requires corresponding conditions. According to the different origins of cardiac stimuli at the attack, fascicular escape rhythm can be divided into 3 types, and thereby shows different electrocardiographic morphology changes. The differential diagnosis of fascicular escape rhythm is very important, since the result lead to different treatments and prognoses of patients subsequently. By several typical cases, this paper illustrates in detail the electrocardiogram manifestations and differential diagnosis highlights of different fascicular escape rhythms.
