Abstract:Objective To investigate the anxiety and emotional response of patients after permanent pacemakers were implanted as well as to explore the corresponding effects of psychagogia and drug intervention.MethodsFifty-eight patients implanted with transvenous pacemakers were enrolled in the study whose indices of anxiety and depression were all ≥50% and they were divided into intervention group and control group by random number table, with each group 29 cases. The intervention group was given intervention of psychological nursing besides drug treatments while the control group was treated only by medication.ResultsBefore treatment, the differences of SAS and SDS scores between intervention group and control group weren‘t statistically significant either(P>0.05). And yet after treatement, compared with the control group, SAS and SDS scores of intervention group decreased and the differences were both statistically significant(P<0.05).ConclusionCompared with pure drug treatment, it proves to be more effective to give psychological nursing complicating drug intervention for patients with permanent pacemaker implanted who were complicated by anxiety and depression.
