Effect of Lorenz-RR plot on the differential diagnosis of atrial fibrillation with ventricular premature complexes and atrial fibrillation with aberrant intraventricular conduction
Abstract:Objective To observe the graphic distribution characteristics of Lorenz-RR plot in dynamic electrocardiogram of persistent atrial fibrillation (AF) when ventricular premature complexes or aberrant intraventricular conduction occur. Methods According to the traditional diagnosis method, fifty patients with AF accompanied by ventricular premature complexes and fifty patients with AF complicated by aberrant intraventricular conduction were collected. Subsequently, the graphic features of Lorenz-RR plots of the two groups were compared. Results The basic figures of Lorenz-RR plots of 100 selected patients showed mainly flabellate shape belong to AF. The Lorenz-RR plots of 50 selected patients with AF accompanied by aberrant intraventricular conduction showed relatively single flabellate shape. In the 50 cases of AF accompanied by ventricular premature complexes, twenty-eight cases showed red bands parallel to the vertical axis outside the flabellate area, seventeen cases formed a strip vertical distribution within the flabellate area, and 5 cases showed no obvious characteristic changes. Conclusion The scatter points of AF with aberrant intraventricular conduction are set inside the flabellate shape, while those of ventricular premature complexes in different interlocking periods have different distribution patterns in the flabellate shape.
