1 Research State and Development of Sprinkler Irrigation Equipments in China

The researching, production, and application of 8 sprinkler irrigation systems widely used inthe world are analyzed, including sprinkler, pump and the main equipments of sprinkler irrigation systems.The research advances, existing problems and gaps between developed countries during the Tenth Five-YearPlan in China are discussed. The developing trends, aim, emphases and developing pattern during the EleventhFive-year Plan in china are put forward, and four pieces of advice on the development policy of the water-saving irrigation engineering and equipments are put forward.

7 Controlling Method of Pump Blade Streamline Based on Spline Curve

According to the condition that traditional method to draw and control the expanding streamlinemostly depending on the designers experience, the method to simulate the expanding streamline by single ormulti cube spline curves, and the mathematical model to control the spline curve are proposed. The approachof simulating and controlling the expanding streamline with multi cube spline curves is narrated in detail,which proved be practical.

10 The Design of Shaft-Well Tubular Pump Unit

The structure forms and features of pumping station of low head in common use are introduced.In conjugating with FeiJiaYu pumping station of Xi Tang River project in Su Zhou city, shaft-well tubularpump unit and the design for its flow passage and way for cut off are presented. This unit has passed theexamination of test run, and is adopted MeiLianghu pumping station of flood control project in Wu Xi city anda pumping station in Changzhou city. The result shows that the shaft-well tubular pump unit, when comparedwith bulk tubular pump, has some obvious merits such as a simpler structure, saving engineer investment, easyto manage and maintain, so its application should be spread out more.

15 Calculation and Prevention for Water Hammer in Water Intake Project of Huizhou Shennengyuan Fengda Electric Power Plant

The water hammer in water intake project of Fengda electric power plant is calculated by themethod of characteristic line. As the GRP sand inclusion steel pipes with low elastic modulus are adopted, andthe water treatment mixing screw set at the end of pipeline wears down a part of water hammer energy, so getlow positive water hammer pressure in the water supply system. But high negative pressure is likely to happenat the both ends of the pipeline in case of a serious pump-stopping water hammer. The results show that it iseffective to prevent the negative water hammer pressure by setting three one-way surge tanks in pipeline.

19 Application of MFLS-10 in Cooling System of Pumping Station

There are many problems in cooling water system of pumping station,such as more impurity ,theshell-and-tube condenser blocked easily and the cooling water system consumed more energy, etc. In orderto solve these many problems ,the MFLS-10 is implemented in Siyang the Second cooling water system. Practiceindicates that the new cooling water system improves the work efficiency and reduces the management costs,sothe benefit is obvious.

22 Analysis of Anti-Sliding Reliability of Steel Radial Gates

With the static water pressure, weights of piers and protecting slope, friction coefficient of pierfoundation on ground and base cohesion etc. as random variables, the analysis method of anti-sliding reliabilityand its equation in stable limit for steel radial gates are given. The anti-sliding reliability of a given steel radialgate is quantitatively analyzed, with the reliability guideline b = 4.1668, and the probability of invalidation Pfis 6.717Х10-5. It proves that this method is more scientific and reasonable, and with more practical meaning.

28 Calculation of Motor Actuating Voltage in Chaiwan Discharging Waterlog Station

In the design process of electric part of discharging waterlog pumping station of middle and smallscale, which form can be taken to start asynchronous motor is determined through the calculation of bus voltagedrop of low pressure when actuating motor. Aimed at the existed problem in this calculation and with the casecalculation of Chaiwan station, the influence of impedance such as high pressure transformer, low-pressure,other loads and actuation of motor to bus voltage drop is analyzed. The correct calculation method and whatshould pay attention to are stated.

33 The Adjustment of Water Pressure in Pump Packing Axial Seal with High Head

Since pumps of high head with packing seal structure generally take water of high pressuredirectly from pumping chamber to seal and lubricate the packing, the axial seal pressure in packing chamberis high and leakage is large. If the packing pressed tight, the wear between axle sleeve and packing will beincreased. So a pressure regulating valve was designed to adjust the water pressure of axial seal. And thestructure, principal of use and adjustment and the test method to determine the relationship among opendegree, axial seal pressure and flow rate for this kind of valve are introduced. Its use case has manifested thatit can realize the adjustment of flow rate and the water pressure of axial seal freely to ensure the water for axialseal obtain the optimal pressure and flow rate.

35 The Optimal Design for Sprinkle and Micro Irrigation Main Pipe Net
ZHU De-lan, , WU Pu-te,
Sprinkle and micro irrigation main pipe net with pressure was designed by two grades optimalmethod. Annual cost was used as objective function and successive diameter and pressure of pump was used asdecision variation. A nonlinear programming is established and solved by Lagrange method. A series of successiveoptimal diameter are obtained. On the base of the first optimal diameter, some shopping diameters are selectedaccording to the number of diameter variation of operational requirement. The diameter and length are used asdecision variation to obtain minimum annual cost. A linear programming is established and solved byDanChunXing method. Then water pressure of every dot along to main pipe was computed. By using themethod, not only is minimum annual coat obtained, but also is operational requirement satisfied. A designexample is displayed. The result showed that no specialist could use the design program, which is based onVisual-Basic language, conveniently and it is suitable for any pressure main pipe net design.

Puts into effect of the project to appropriate economize on water andmake the best possible use of irrigation technology, which makes considerable headway. It will be certainlyimportant to play an exemplary role and carry the work of economize on water to irrigation a step forward infrigid zone.

42 Application of High Frequency Switch Power Supply in the Improvement of DC Device

Based on the analysis of the present problems and the cause of accidents, the setup of GZDW-Bseries program-controlled DC devices and the characteristics and functions of modules of high frequencyswitch power supply as well as the charging and discharging properties of storage battery cells are introduced.The control, protection and measurement function of the GZDW-B series DC devices to the battery cells, andthe principles of DC or AC electric circuits, alarming, charging and discharging circuits of the new type DCdevices are also presented. The performance of the pumping station is very well after the technical improvement.

The secondary design of pump stations can comply withthe principle of element set”, namely divide the secondary design to several elements: 10/6kV incoming line,main engine, transformer,link circuit etc.

48 Data Erro Reason Analysis of one Pump Tested in Different Test Bed

In order to improve the precision of the product test, the test data of FHE40-160-40 typeelectric pump is taken for example, which tested in two test beds that match with the precision of GB/T 3216 Cgrade respectively, and the reason of result deviation is analyzed. The main influent factor of the test result ispointed out to be the asymmetric of three-phase power; in addition, the precision of the test instrument, themode of line connection etc. are also the influent factors.
