1 Prediction of Performance for Dissimilar Centrifugal Pumps Coupled in Series or in Parallel

There are several operating systems in which two or more dissimilar centrifugal pumps coupled in series or in parallel, and this kind of operation is complicated. However, the classical graphical solution of combined characteristics does not attain the whole combined characteristics in pump mode of the pump system. To predict the full flow fields, it is necessary to take into account the flow characteristics in two dissipative modes. Applying the theory, the whole combined characteristics are acquired in pump mode region by graphical or calculating method.

5 A New Induction Shaft Couplingang and Experiment

Analyzed the working principle of squirrel cage asynchronous motors by reverse design methods, a new-type induction magnetic coupling is designed ,which working temperature is more higher than a synchronous magnetic coupling’s. And the experiment device of a new-type induction magnetic coupling is designed , which is used to test .The experimental results indicate that this design is practicable.

9 The Structure and Characteristics of a Synchronous Motor with a New Type Thrust Bearing

The struction and characteristics of a kind of synchronous motor (TL1000-24/2150) with a new type of thrust bearing (TYG) in reinforcing project of huaian pump station (No.1) are introduced. This synchronous motor set has the advantageous of whole assemble set with easy settlement, short period and esaily maintains etc. The long operation shows that the new motor set has smooth operation with various parameters better than that of the old one′s.

12 Researching on the Measures of Technical Modification of Feixian′s Pumping Station

There exists many problems such as the aging of mechanical and electrical equipment, improporly matching and low efficiency, etc, in Feixian′s pumping station which was built many years ago.Through improving the lift pump, changing the rotational speed and the vane′s angle of repose, and improving pipe arrangement, we can achieve better results with as efficiency increased and operating cost lowered.

14 Design and Research of a Tubular Pump With Cone Gear Drive

According to the longer operation duration in low lift head operating condition and the steep change of pump station’s lift head in recent Huai River’s waterway engineering of ocean outfall, the research on pump’s structure selection has been made, and a new kind of tubular pump unit with cone gear drive was developed firstly, which has been successfully applied to practical engineering. With simple structure, convenient maintenance and high efficiency, this kind of machine deserves spreading.

19 Application of PLC Magnetic Acceleration System in Pump Station Project

The development of PLC magnetic acceleration system is introduced, the problems encountered in application in large or middle scale pump station, and the merits and shortcomings of all kinds of magnetic acceleration systems are also presented. It will be an infallible trend that the PLC magnetic acceleration system will be used in pumping station. The results can be used for references by the users of same kind pump station and synchronous electromotor.

21 Comprehensive Post Evaluation in Water Saving Irrigation Project

The post evaluation work in water saving irrigation project is much late in our country, particularly the systematic research of its theory and method is still in blank. Making use of certain method to evaluate the water saving irrigation project, a comprehensive evaluation value can be ultimately drawn for evaluation and comparison. This paper advanced the index synthesis method with multi-stage, multi-objective and the successful degree method to gain a comprehensive post evaluation. This method is simple to use, and can reflect the actual condition of each project, and make the comprehensive post evaluation in this field generalized as soon as possible.

28 Research and Application of Pipe-maker of Cement Mortar Pipe for Seep Irrigation Underground

The seep irrigation underground is a kind of water-saving irrigation technique. At present pipes used abroad are most made of plastic or rubber. So the cost is too high to make it popularized in China market. The pipe-maker we devised uses cement mortar as the main material. This machine was pulled by a tractor and can finish all working procedures such as moving, digging, delivering material, extruding, molding, smoothing, backfilling and so on each time underground. The field bearing capacity and hydraulic pressure in pipe test shows that the quality meets the requirements of design and safety. Field evaluation shows that the field under this seep irrigation method can save 60% water more than the one under flooding method. The cost is low and it is easy to construct, so it is really a new water-saving irrigation technique.

31 The Remote Monitoring of Running Water Pump Station With Modem

Because running water pump station are often scattered, and located in remote areas, by utilizing S7-226 PLC logical controller, free-communicating interface and Modem’s remote communicating ability, the problem of its over-remote monitoring has been solved. Communicating program of upper-computer, free-communicating interface data frame and communicating program etc. are put forward. This monitoring manner can be spread at town’s level of water pressure raised pump station.

34 Design and Implementation of Intelligence Remote Control System for Water Saving Irrigation

The system designed is able to control irrigation with intelligence according to environment’s change. This system consists of three parts: collecting PC, server center and custom PC. We develop software control flat by groupware and Visual BASIC. On the basis of analysis of large amount of irrigation material, remote control irrigation is realized through GPRS network and Fuzzy theory. This system has been running reliably and stably for one year in one city of Jingsu province, the effect of water saving is quite evident. Irrigation districts have been intelligentized and the configuration of water resources has also been optimized.

37 Study on Energy-saving Criterion of Pump Station

Through analying electric power of pump station ,this paper points out that the extra lift and efficency deviation in pump station is main reasons of waste. Speed regulating method can resolve extra lift,but the efficency deviation is a problem that needs to be resolved now.《PumpSave 3.0》 software can resolve above problem. The software can determine the lowest electric power per ton water in the pump station and give out a optimizing run methed. Especially some judgement methods are given in the paper to energy-saving work of pump station. The possibility of establishing energy-saving criterion is studied also.

41 Advances and Application Improvement of Electrostatic Atomization Technology

In the present paper, investigation is carried out based on abundant domestic and international data and combined with the author,s work. Domestic and international improvement of electrostatic atomization and application technology are analysed and described. Experiment of advanced apparatus and technology indicates that electrostatic atomization can improve the quality and the field properties of liquid atomization efficiently. The research results of two-phase turbulence flow and numerical modeling have greatly promoted electrostatic atomization research. Electrostatic atomization has been expanded into foreland research fields such as combustion, spray coating, preparation of anonym film and so on.

45 Numerical Simulation Research On Response Characteristic 0f OPCM In Acoustic Emission Monitoring of Pipe

Found the 2-D FEM(finite element model) of pipe structure to simulate the generation and spread about a sort of acoustic emission(AE). By coupling the correlative nodes displacement degrees of Freedom, the two dimension AE wave become three dimension to inspirit the OPCM affixed on the surface of pipe. Read the node volt to simulate the output of sensor, and made Time-Frequency Analysis of the outputting signal based on Margenau-Hill energy distributing, discuss response characteristic of OPCM in the circumstance of no noise, advocate the theory mode and design method for future sensor used in AE monitoring of pipe.
