1 Study on Application of Tubular Pumps in the Project of South to North Water Transfer Project

According to the features of very low head in many pumping stations of the project of south to north water Transfer Project , it is analyzed on structure types, hydraulic performances and economic indexes for various tubular pumps. It put forward that standard tube tubular, pit tubular and bulb tubular pumps can all be used for these very low heads stations. It is critical to resolve some problems including the material and lubrication of guide hearing , the life noise of gearbox.

7 Numerical Simulation of 3-D Turbulent Flow in the Dual-Intakes Sump of Pump Station

A. numerical model for 3-D turbulent flow in the sump of the pump station is presented. A reasonable boundary condition for the flow in the sump with double water intakes, each of which may has different flow rate respectively is proposed. The finite volume method is employed to solve the governing equation using the body fitted grid generated by multiblock grid technique. Using the method obtained in this paper, the fluid flow in the sump of the pump stations with two water intakes is calculated. The numerical result of the examples is fairly good.

12 Influence of the Flow Pattern in the Sump on the Flow Field of Pump Inlet

Medium-sized and small-sized pump stations usually provide the water inlet condition for the pump with the sump. Therefore, the good or bad condition of flow in the sump directly exerts an influence on the flow field of the pump inlet and consequently leads to poor pump system performance. Studied on the development of the research on the flow pattern of sump and illustrates its influence on the flow field of pump inlet. The method of the research on the flow pattern in the sump is discussed. The advantages and disadvantages of the methods are analyzed.

15 Research on the Pump Type of Two-stage dam Pump-station for South-to-North Water Transfer Project

Due to the characteristics of the two-stage dam pumping station for the Eastern Route of South-to-North Water Transfer Project, which works under low water level and wide water surface of its up and down stream, the pump system type, pump transmission style and unit regulation form are compared and analyzed respectively. Numerical simulation on flow passage is presented in order to determine where to put the bulb unit of tubular pump, and the situation where the outlet flow passage transifer from roundness to squareness is also designed with high grade.

17 Hydraulic Design of Centrifugal Mud Pump

Take clean water pump with high hydro performances as model, and wear-resisting property emphasized , from the viewpoint of the efficiency of centrifugal mud pump, the hydraulic and geometrical parameters of centrifugal mud pump is discussed. The machining craft of the main pump components and the method to select mating material are stated in detail as well.

20 Analysis of Quenching Cracks of Pump Axle

The quenching cracks in pump axle for automobile engine were observed by optical microscope and scanning electron microscope, and the factors which influence the crack formation were analyzed. It is shown that the main causes of crack formation in pump axle are structure stress, thermal stress, dimension of work piece, band carbanitride and brittle nonmetallic inclusions distributed in different forms. According to the results of observation and analysis, material determination method and optimum heat treatment process are proposed.

23 Improve on the Pressure-compensated Variable Displacement Pump

There are problems of variable displacement impact and unpreset of maxium displacement on pressure-compensated variable displacment pump. For the pumps analyzed and compared their adjust performance. And presented a method of improveing pump structure, use double-spring of rigidity-changed on the pressure-limited variable displacment vane pump and take measures adding pre-adjusting frame of swash plate angle on constant output axial pistom pump. Now it has be effectively applied to hydraulic press.

26 Study and Design of Spraying Irrigation Automatic Controller Based on Fuzzy Decision

In order to solve the problem of agricultural water-saving irrigation,use fuzzy logic to design the full-automatic fuzzy intelligent water-saving irrigation controller which takes AT89C51 as the core, considering that modeling precise mathematic model for irrigation is difficult and fuzzy control does not need precise model. The controller can go on fuzzy decision on the basis of soil water content and crop demand for water, and thus realize full-automatic intelligent irrigation. This system has been succeeded in operating in the Qufu demonstration area and has received quite good effect.

29 Research on the Flow Characteristic of Spray Nozzle and Design

Combine with the research of accessory nozzle of Model 11CP45 sprinkling machine of hydraulic and propeller by oneself made by Shanxi Shineland Group Co., Ltd., the theory analyse of freedom spray of the column and common outside pipe nozzle is studied. The contractive nozzle is designed and efflux device is increased. Through testing calculating, water loses coefficient reduces, and velocity of flow coefficient increases. The flow of the nozzle is increased by 8%.The range is increased by 5%.The result is remarkable.

32 Application on the Irrigation Technology of Piping Water in Mound Region

Combined with actual engineering project, according to the characteristics on the irrigation technology of piping water and actual conditions on inequality of slope of cultivated land about mound region, carried out optimization design with project of fetching water and pipeline system, studied some technological questions and countermeasures, example for disposing of main and subordinate pipe, water hammer and irrigating way etc. ,and introduced benefit and advantage for application on the irrigation technology of piping water in mound region. And it, provided the scientific basis for applying of the irrigation technology of piping water at mound region.

35 Bus Communication between one Computer and many Converters Technique’ Application

Taking the example of the bus communication between computer and converters at Zhongqiao water treatment plant in Wu-xi, the bus communication technique between one computer and many converters is discussed.. The configuring and supervising of internal parameters for converts are realized. The measures of bring out control function thought software and hardware, improving the communication credibility and efficiency and the pivotal technology are studied. The control ability, control scopes are increased and the engineering cost is decreased greatly.

38 Determination of Match Power in Electric Motor of the Muddy Water Source Pumping Station

In order to solve the overload problem of the electric motor of the muddy water source pumping station, the determinative factors that affect the match power of the electric motor was analyzed, and the correction value of the reserve factor of the electric motor is presented. This was verified in Shanxi Jamakou water resource pumping station , and it has some referential value to the construction and reconstruction of the sediment-laden water source pumping station.

40 Application of Disk Friction Pump in Axis Seal

According to the trouble of lube leakage of the turbine principal axis, this paper conduct an investigation in the cause of the trouble. The theory analysis indicates the form of the disk friction pump when the open hull is replaced by closed hull. In a broad sense it realizes the change from pour to ejection, and the gap flow near pump hull change from leakage flow to suction flow. Practice indicates that measures, which is took here, is practical, and the trouble of lube leakage of the turbine principal axis is well resolved.
