7 New Concept of Impeller Pumps with Magnetic Bearings

A novel impeller pump has been developed.The magnets were inlaid ontothe impeller,the coil was winded around the pump housing.As the current is introducedinto the coil,the impeller rotates to pump the fluid.Two magnetic bearings weredevised to replace the mechanical bearing,thus the rotor and stator has no contact,no friction and no wear.All the fluid contacted surfaces with stainless coatingswere immersed in the liquid,there is no sealing in the pump.The impeller vane wasdesigned according to a three-dimensional analytical method.This novel impellerpump promises to be able to operate continuously,durably and reliably.

19 Optimum Numerical Design of Elbow Tube of Pumping Station

A method based on numerical computations of the turbulence flow isapplied to analyze the flow field of the elbow tube of pump suction. An optimumscheme was designed. A good agreement was achieved between the calculation data andthe result of model test. The named height of elbow tube of Jiangdu No.3 PumpingStation reaches the critical value. Through optimum numerical design, the pumpingstation could works efficiently with high stability.

23 Numerical Simulation on Water Supplying System

It studied the simulation of water supplying systems. Generally, partof the pipeline resistance parameters could be measured, but they are insufficientfor the determination of the system state. Based on the calculation method of adirect circuit, the least square fitting method was used on the sampling data. Inthis way a math model getting the unknown pipeline resistance parameters was builtup and the system state could be determined. The model could be referenced to thedesign of irrigation nets etc.

29 Research for Utilization of the Store Water Layer to Relieve the Lack of Water

In accordance with the state of the lack of water in Liaoning, theprofits of making use of groundwater reasonably and the harm by unreasonably aresummarized. 37 Design of Direct Torque Control System for Pump Asynchronous Motor
CHEN Jian
Direct torque control (DTC) is a high performance control method. A DTCscheme based on TMS320C32 is introduced. By the design of its hardware and software,the direct torque control for asynchronous motor is implemented. The experimentresults show the scheme is reliable. The running efficiency of pump is furtherimproved by using DTC to the pump speed-controlling system.
