3 Discussion About the Technological Innovations of Sprinkler Irrigation Equipment in China

The sprinkler irrigation technology began to be developed from the seventies in China, while sprinkler irrigation equipment was manufactured and put into production. Through making great efforts in the technology and equipment of sprinkler irrigation, the marked effect has been achieved, and all things done have played an important role in promoting the development of water saving irrigation in our country. But, at present some problems exist in this aspect, the main one is that less was done in innovations. Facing to the twenty first century, the views of concerned technological innovation are put forward by analyzing the innovation trend of technology and equipment of sprinkler irrigation abroad, and countering the main problem existing in the development of sprinkler irrigation equipment at the present stage of our country such as speeding up the renewal of traditional sprinkler irrigation equipment, developing the new types of sprinkler irrigation equipment suited to the national situation, quickening the industrialization of sprinkler irrigation equipment, taking vigorous and reliable action to import the advanced technology and equipment from abroad and so on.

8 Experimental Study on the Effects of Reynolds Numbers on Efficiency Transformation

Based on new efficiency transformation formula between a model and a prototype, the Reynolds number’s effects on the efficiency transformation was analyzed. A number of tests were made so that the regression relationship between the index in the formula and speed ratio (Reynolds number ratio) could be determined. Finally, according to the relationship, the efficiencies of pumps and their systems were forecasted and the results show that the errors are very low, comparing with the experimental data.

13 Improved Way ON Single Channel Impeller Hydraulic Design

An improved way of single channel impeller hydraulic design is discussed in this paper, it is more simple than the former design method, which is especially fit to program CAD software. Based on summing up many excellent hydraulic models of single channel impeller, it gives various kinds of coefficient values of axial section. Inspect the design way of plan hydraulic design of double channel impeller, it provides the new design way of plan hydraulic of single channel impeller. It introduces a new change ruler of section area and an equation of plan channel midline. At last, a programming way and an example of design are given.

32 Test Analysis on Hydraulic Performance and Application Study of Sprinklers for Gardens Irrigation

Irrigation system is one of the most important parts in protecting and managing lawn in gardens. In this paper, hydraulic performance tests on two sprinklers under different conditions are conducted. The two sprinklers are widely used for gardens irrigation in China, named model R50 of Rainbird Company and model PGP of Hunter company. On account of the sprinkler’s structure, preliminary analysis on the tested data is also made. Based on the tested data, some advice on the best choice and layout of the sprinkler in irrigation design is presented.

39 Study Reliability Design of A Submersible Pump Distribute Control System

The distribute control system (DCS) is used widely in the drainage and irrigation field. The methods of DCS design is various. But the reliability of DCS is important. Therefore, in accordance with the example of a submersible pump fault diagnosis distribute control. The construction of DCS and its principle is described. The norm of reliability design, hardware and software measure are introduced. The way of DCS reliability design is described. This will be helpful to other DCS design.
