3 Research on the Axial Force of the In-Line Magnetism Pump

This paper introduces the effects of the axial force of magnetism pump. With the type 200GYC 60 in line magnetism pump as an example, the causes for the axial force are analyzed. The formula to calculate various axial forces are listed and calculation results are given, which are the verified by test. In the end, the paper also discusses various approaches to change the axial force.

8 Application the Excel2000 in the Solution of Pump Operation Point

There are various methods to solve the pump operation point. With the development of Microsoft Excel, Excel2000 or Excel97 brings more convience in sloving the working point. The general procedure for determining pump running point is introduced, which can be used in series, parallel or branches cases. The results show that this method is far more quicker than the ordinary one.

12 Analysis on the Casing Strength of the 1200LW-60 Vertical-type Centrifugal Pumps for DongLei Second Stage

To solve the problem of the casing strength of the 1200LW 60 vertical type centrifugal pumps for the BeiGan secondary station of DongLei Ⅱ, the casing thickness designed by the water pump manufacturers is analysed further. On the basis of recommended formula in pump textbooks and handbooks available, it has been concluded that there is something wrong with the value selection by the pump manufacturer and thus the correct value range is obtained for the pump casing thickness after strength analysis. By demonstration, the value range can not only satisfy the needs of casing thickness in strength and rigidity, but also be suited for the conditions of the pumping project along the Yellow River Basin.

15 A New Kind of Sealing Structure for Centrifugal Pump

There exist some shortcoming in the traditional packing sealing structure for centrifugal pump. The recently developed new kind of dynamic sealing PTFE(polytetrafluoroethylene) in introduced, which has the advantageous of simple structure, sealing realiability, low cost and easy construction, etc.

17 Application of Object-oriented Technology in CAD of Axial Flow Pumps

Applied object oriented technology and development tools,such as ObjectARX,MFC,Visual C++ programming language,the CAD software of axial flow pumps includes four main parts,which are of hydraulic designs of the impeller and the guide vane, and structural designs on the pump inlet and outlet flow passages.

32 Technique Questions on Sprinkling Irrigation of Reclaimed Water

With the changing of the water resources structure and of the water’s uses, the sprinkling irrigation of reclaimed water, a new problem, has been put forward. In this paper, the feasibility of sprinkling irrigation of reclaimed water is analysed, the characteristecs of reclaimed water disposal suited to common agricultural irrigation are discussed, some key problems for designing system of the sprinkling irrigation of reclaimed water, and matters needing attention for selecting equipments are put forward.

40 Exploration of Pump Enterprises Investment Decision Methods

The thesis introduces the net present value method and the internal rate of return method which are most commonly used in the long term investment of pump enterprises. Specific cases are analysed to show that using the two methods sometimes may result in different decisions. Which method should decision-makers choose? Then the thesis compares and analyses the two common methods, and finds out least three defects in internal rate of return method: it has an improper opportunity cost hypothesis; it violates additional value principle; one project can work out several internal rate of return. Through comparison and analysis, the conclusion is drawn that net present value method is the suitable method of pump enterprises long-term investment decision.
