4 DESIGN OF IW32 118 MICRO CENTRIFUGAL PUMP

IW32 118 Micro centrifugal pump is reasonably designed, the established hydraulic model being quite satisfying and sound in structure. It is more difficult to design small flow and low specific speed micro centrifugal pumps because of their lower efficiency and harder machining. But an optimalized design is adopted here by combining the theories and experiments. By selecting reasonable parameters, the efficiency and machinability are enhanced to a certain degree.

The development situation of pump hydraulic design CAD software is introduced, and the characteristics of PCAD2000 are detailed. It has overall function and good usage. It is not only used to design centrifugal pump impeller and diffuser, but also used to design non_clogging pump impeller and diffuser, radial diffuser, space diffuser, etc. It uses mathematical model optimized, advanced and reliable program method. At last, an example of hydraulic design is given.

38 WTO AND PUMP INDUSTRY IN CHINA

After China enter WTO, Chinese pump factories will face more challenges and opportunities. Factories producing small pumps for agriculture and household shall improve the quality of products, take the price advantage and aim to increase its share in World market. Industry pumps manufactures shall also promote themselves in the aspects of technology and theory, manufactory technology, cooperation and management. They shall improve the quality and appearance of products, promote image of enterprises and increase competitive ability. Overall, China will gain more than loss after entering WTO. WTO will make pump industry seek for reform, pursue for survival, and finally grow up.
