Meanwhile, it was modeled through employing UG, and the turbulent numerical simulation of 3D steady flow on hydraulic model of the pump was carried out based on RNG k-¦Å turbulence model through Ansys. The calculated results show that performance curves of the pump are featured by stability, high efficiency, and wide high-performance area. Moreover, it is unlikely for the pump to have overloading situations. The head is 71.3% of rated head at the design flow of 150% and the head of shut off condition is 126.7% of rated head. The stationary flow rules of its inducers, impellers and volutes were analyzed through velocity vectors and sta-tic pressure. The results show the even distribution in velocity pattern and the sound arrangement between blades of inducers and impellers. Owning to the stability of the interior of the new pump, indu-cers can effectively improve their cavitation and erosion resistance. Consequently, this kind of pumps can meet standard requirements of fire pumps.ª¤
