%A YUAN Jian-ping, ZHANG Gai-cheng, CHEN Xiang %T Operation adjusting methods for energy consumption of centrifugal pump %0 Journal Article %D 2006 %J Journal of Drainage and Irrigation Machinery Engin %R 10.3969/j.issn.1674-8530.2006.05.011 %P 44-47 %V 24 %N 5 %U {http://zzs.ujs.edu.cn/pgjx/CN/abstract/article_1290.shtml} %8 2006-09-25 %X The principles of adjustment method for centrifugal pump¡äs operation,including throttling adjustment,flow dividing adjustment,adjustment through coupling pumps in series or in parallel,and rotating speed adjustment are introduced.The hydraulic consumptions,operation efficiency,advantages and disadvantages,and applied conditions are discussed.There are two flow rate adjusting methods: that flow rate can be continuously changed throttling adjustment and flow dividing adjustment,and the latter has larger energy consumption and is always applied to the sites where running safety and reliability must be considered.The adjustment method through coupling pumps in series or in parallel can¡ät continuously change flow ratio,but the adjustment range is very wide and there is no additional hydraulic loss in theory.The method of rotating speed adjustment changes the flow ratio continuously if the rotating speed changes continuously.The method don¡ät cause additional hydraulic loss except the loss inside pump.
