Study on Dynamic Characteristics of Flap valve and Hydraulic Buffer |

Abstract As one of the imported valves in axial pumping stations, the moment characteristics of flap valve is related to hydraulic transient of turbine, time dependent flow of pipe system and dynamic characteristics of hydraulic hoist. Combined with the flap valve model test of Fankou pumping station, the simulation method of flap valve and hydraulic hoist model are introduced, the dynamic characteristics of two different schemes with variant pumping head is tested and studied. With computer measure system,dynamic parameter and dash power of flap valve and change course of oil pressure in hydraulic buffer are obtained. It can be shown that suitable channel square with section change can realize reliable cushion and eliminate bump force. The results not only provides the necessary basis for flap valve reconstruction of Fankou pumping station, they also has the function of guiding and referring for the similar flap valve and hydraulic buffer.
