Abstract The paper studies on the intake patterns of the pumping station and illustrates the flow state with the side direction intake. The method of the research is discussed. The mechanism of improving the flow pattern is analyzed. The result of the discussion can be applied on the improving of the flow pattern for the generous pumping station.
