Abstract To make the screw centrifugal pump have better performance,the traditional designing method can not satisfy the needs preferably.Based on the structural characters of the screw centrifugal pump impeller,profile equations for impeller vane of screw centrifugal pump were deduced.The screw impeller was drawn based on profile equations,which can avoid the deficiencies of the traditional 1dimensional impeller hydraulic design method which depends on experience and tedious handdrawing.This method improves the efficiency for vane drawing of screw centrifugal pump,increases the design porecision,and provides helps for CAD and numerical simulation of 3-dimensional flow field.screw centrifugal pump;impeller;hydraulic design;profile equations
