Analyze on cavitation reason about large reversible tubular pump |

Abstract To give reference for construction and operation on large reversible tubular pump station,combining with Huai′an No.3 reversible tubular pump,problems on cavitation and its reasons are analyzed through field tests.It demonstrated that the different blade surface cavitation distributed in working surface of blade outlet and inlet;cavitation on outlet(comparing with pumping condition) is more severely than inlet;light cavitation on volute belonged to Ⅲ~Ⅳ.The reason is that deeply consideration on pumping condition is performed in the designing stage,so under higher water head the working conditions are worse and the cavitation appeared.
