Abstract The calculation of flow is often needed in water conservancy, and surface-fitting and double integration are usually met in order to solve this problem. Spline interpolation and Gaussian quadrature are developed for surface-fitting and double integration and applied to calculation of the flow and the efficiency in pumping station and the flow in aqueduct and pipe. This method can meet the need of engineering.
