Abstract InthereinforcingprojectofHuaianPumpStation(No.1),itisrealizedthatthemainorassis-tantpumpunitsandelectricsystemareallautomaticallymonitoredandcontrolledbycomputer.Thecontrol-lingsystemcannotonlyrunorstopautomaticallythemainpumpunits,butalsocanchangethepump’sbladeangletoaoptimumconditionangleforrealizingtheeconomicaloperationunderagivenflowrate.ThecomputercontrollingsystemadoptafullydistributedopensystemstructureofLANtorealizetheremotecontrol,andcanextenditsfuctions.Thesystemisadvancedandreliable.Theoptimizationtheoryofeco-nomicaloperationistakenminimaltotalpowerastargetfunction,takentotalflowrate,capcacityofpumpu-nitsandpowerasconstrains,andadoptedbi-stateprogrammingtechnology.Theflowrateofpumpstationcanbeobtainedbycombiningthemeasuringthepumpstation’supstreamanddownstreamwaterlevelwithcalculating.Thepumpstationsbasedoncomputercontrolsystemandeconomicaloperationtheorywillbringhugeeconomicandsocialbenefit,andcanbeextendtouseinSouth-to-NorthWaterTransferProject.
