Abstract:The importance of automatic technology in irrigation management is discussed, the present situation and existing problems of water saving irrigation controller at home and abroad are introduced in detail , including Israel, America, Australia and our country, and the applications of some new techniques in irrigation controller is analyzed including fuzzy control, neural network and expert system, etc. and the trends for further research are also discussed.
