Abstract:Design methods of a multistage flameproof submersible pump for coal mine were introduced in details.The effects of base holes,cover height,volute flow passage and outlet position on pump hydraulic efficiency were analyzed,and the optimizations for those parts were done.Pump′s volumetric efficiency can be improved by using floating rings.Rotor′s radical flop is limited through setting a sliding bearing.Pressure at friction-pair of dual-end face mechanical seal is always larger than spring′s origin force through static ring optimization in oil chamber.The BQW80-180-90 pump experiment results show that the pump can run quietly due to the floating rings and sliding bearing,and its efficiency is increased by about 8% compared to that of MT/T 671-2005.Meanwhile the new mechanical seal is more reliable than the old one.To sum up,the new design of this kind pump has high efficiency and reliability.
