Abstract:Reynolds time-averaged N-S equations,standard k-ε turbulent model,three-dimensional non-structural tetrahedral mesh,and multiple reference frame model were used to calculate the three-dimensional turbulent flow of nuclear model pumps with two different diffusers under the design condition.The static pressure distribution in interior flow field was obtained.Continual increased trend of static pressure from impeller inlet to spherical shell and unsymmetrical character in the diffuser were discovered.Streamlines of the two model pumps were compared and analyzed.The results can be used to study the interior flow field characteristics of the nuclear model pump,and will provide some useful references for hydraulic optimized design.
