Optimim design for siphon outlet of liulaojian No.2 pumping station

Abstract:In order to obtain the best hydraulic performance of the siphon outlet within the given control dimensions,a 3D turbulent numerical calculation was conducted to optimize the design of the outlet for Liulaojian No.2 Pumping Station.The results of the calculation show that the shape of siphon outlet dominantly influence the hydraulic loss of outlet.Excellent hydraulic performance of siphon outlet could be obtained by the numerical optimum design.siphon outlet;optimum hydraulic calculation;numerical simulation
