Abstract:The flow field in the slurry pump is simulated by using the κ-ε two equations model and SIMPLE arithmetic.The distribution of velocity and solid particles and the information of axial vortex in the impeller and volute are discovered.The distributions of particles under the condition of different initial concentrations and diameters in the pump are compared.The effects of the initial concentration and diameter of solid particles to the wear character of the impeller and volute are analyzed.slurry pump;impeller;wear;numerical simulation
