Abstract:Differential coefficient is a common method in the optimal operation of the pump station. Inorder to avoid the disadvantages of the large numbers of calculation and error of diagrammatizing, a numericalcomputation method is applied which adopted data-fitting to derive the function of the dynamic characteristicsat the specified pump head from general performance curves of pump system and programmed to seek theoptimal one of those combinations of operation which satisfied the required capacity based on the principle ofequal differential coefficient ratio. It is found that numerical computation method has the advantages ofaccurateness and speediness in a representative example.
