Abstract:Field experiment was conducted to study on soil-salt distribution and crop yield with ridge tillage and furrow irrigation. The results showed that the vertical movement of soil moisture could be improved with 400 m3/hm2 of irrigation quota, while the horizontal movement of soil moisture was faster than the vertical movement with 500 m3/hm2 of irrigation quota. Soil salt was influenced by irrigation quota in furrow topsoil: salinity accumulation and eluviations occurred in irrigating and evapotranspiration respectively. Soil salification in topsoil was relatively stable, that was, the downward migration of soil-salt did not occur. Soil salt of T1 treatment(irrigation quota of 1 700 m3/hm2)was 1.49,1.35 kg/m2in ridge and furrow position respectively, that of T2 treatment(irrigation quota of 2 100 m3/hm2)were 1.42,1.12 kg/m2, that of T3 treatment(irrigation quota of 2 500 m3/hm2)was 1.32, 0.83 kg/m2. Soil desalting(1.29 kg/m2)occurred at 0-100 cm layer with border irrigation. Yield of seeding maize was between 2 765.1 and 4 619.5 kg/hm2, and WUE was between 0.755 and 0.969 kg/m3. There was significant positive correlation between crop yield and its factors, such as Ls,ds and NR.
