Abstract:A standard nozzle with the flow rate of 4.92 ml/s is used to study the effect of the diameter of circular electrode upon the charging property of droplets.Under the same spray pressure and the liquid medium,five electrode diameters with different sizes and different installation positions are selected for injection charging spray.Net target method is employed to collect and measure the current.The quality of mass droplets and the charge-mass ratio are selected for evaluation of charging property.The analysis of the effect of charging voltage and electrode circle upon the charging volume reveals that the ratio is proportional to charging voltage and varies with different electrode circle diameters while the ratio is also linear to the electrode diameter and changes with the electrode size.The study provides scientific ground for the structural design,coefficient optimization,quantitative calculation of the ratio and analytical 67evaluation of electrode.
