Abstract In the context of the rapid development of the "new engineering", the establishment of the industrial college has become an important push for the local undergraduate colleges and universities to realize the application transformation and development. By clarifying the connotation of industrial college, this paper sums up the different modes of industrial college, and puts forward the basic steps of establishing industrial college based on the discussion of its operating mechanism, which will provide reference for local undergraduate colleges and universities to establish suitable industrial college.
